Student Activity Details

At our college, student activities play a vital role in promoting holistic development and a vibrant campus culture. From academic clubs and cultural events to community service and leadership programs, students are encouraged to explore their interests and talents beyond the classroom.

These activities foster teamwork, creativity, confidence, and social responsibility, helping students grow into well-rounded individuals. Our campus regularly hosts workshops, seminars, sports tournaments, and festivals that provide an engaging platform for students to learn, lead, and connect.

The college runs Environment Awareness activity with the financial assistance from Ministry of Forest and Environment and BAIF, Pune to create awareness about environmental problems among the students, teacher, youth, women etc.With this aim the college organizes seminars, workshops, rallies, elocutions, debate essay writing competitions, slow gun competitions based on the Environmental awareness topics.The college also organizes tree–plantation & tree- protection camps in the college & college vicinity.The college has been organizing ‘Environmental Awareness Campaign’ in various villages of Pathardi Tahshil for last 05 years.

The College organizes a free Medical Cheek-up Camp& Health Practices for first year undergraduate students every year in collaboration with SPPU, Pune.The objective of this camp is to help in proper medical advice for good health & financial assistance for medical treatment to poor students.The camp proves helpful in creating health awareness among the students.As a part of this activity free medical check-up, Hemoglobin check-up (special camp for girls), blood–donation camp & lectures by medical practitioners are organized.

The college runs special guidance classes for competitive examinations for the students of the college. The activity aims creating awareness about various competitive examinations among the students by regular coaching. Experts of various subjects guide students to prepare themselves according to the prescribed syllabi of MPSC, UPSC and other competitive examinations.

The college runs a National Service Scheme in collaboration with University of Pune. The scheme aims creating social awareness among the students & also makes students enable to understand social responsibility. It proves helpful to develop social personality of the students. As a part of this scheme, college organizes special winter camps, cleanliness campaign & rallies with various social purposes.

National Cadet Corps Unit is affiliated to 17 Mah Bn.NCC Ahmednagar . Currently the unit has strength of 53 cadets in senior division . Capt. Dr. A. M. Palwe is ANO of the unit.The NCC unit was established in college on 27/06/1970. The unit conducts its regular activities as physical training, weapon training, drill practices & also organize blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, tree plantation, rallies etc . Cadets participate in Annual Training Camps, Army Attachment camps, Thalsena Camp, Republic Day Camp, National Integration Camp & Adventure camps . Successful cadets securing good ranks in ‘B’ & ‘C’ Certificate examinations have great opportunity of jobs in Armed forces & Police forces . NCC Provides background to cadets to secure jobs & provide them with better way of life.The unit was served by Capt.Prof.R.T.Waman (1970 to 1989), Capt.Dr.S.B. Chavan (1989 to 2005), and Lt.Prof. D.D.Palwe (2001 to 2010).
